Privacy Policy For the Application entitled: «Fespa B-design Viewer»

Introduction

The present terms govern the privacy practices applied to the Fespa B-design Viewer mobile application (hereinafter referred to as “the Application”) and describe how information and data are handled and processed, in connection with the use of the Application (hereinafter 2eferred to as the “Privacy Policy”). This Privacy Policy is issued by LH Logismiki, a corporation duly registered in Greece (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us”, “our”), the developer and owner of the Fespa B-design Viewer mobile application.
We take the privacy and security of users’ information and data very seriously and we are committed to full compliance with applicable privacy, data protection, and consumer protection laws (including inter alia the General Data Protection Regulation in the European Union).

In a nutshell, this Privacy Policy explains:

  • What information/data is (or is not) processed and collected by the Application;
  • How information/data is processed, stored, and protected;
  • Users’ rights under applicable law; and
  • Contact information for questions or concerns regarding privacy practices.

By using the Application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the practices described herein. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please refrain from using the Application.

About the App

The Fespa B-design Viewer is a specialized mobile application designed solely to read and display specific data files generated by the licensed structural analysis software Fespa. Its purpose is to allow civil/structural engineers to review and supervise project data directly on-site.

It is underlined that:

  • The Application only reads files generated by Fespa using a specific export command available to licensed users.
  • The Application does not allow editing, modification, or transformation of the data files.
  • Files opened in the Application are stored only locally on the user’s device and are not transmitted to any external server.
  • There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or fees required for the use of the App.
  • The App is not directed to minors and is intended exclusively for professional use by civil/structural engineers.

Data Collection and Processing

Neither we nor the Application collect, process, transmit, or share any personal, sensitive, or usage-related information from its users. All operations are performed locally on the user’s device, and no external servers or third parties are involved in the handling of data.
Specifically, the Application ensures that:

  • No personal identifiers are collected (including but not limited to name, email address, postal address, telephone number, device identifiers, or account credentials);
  • No analytics or telemetry data are recorded (such as crash reports, usage patterns, interaction metrics, location data, or any behavioral information);
  • No advertising or tracking technologies are implemented, including cookies, advertising IDs, or other third-party tracking mechanisms;
  • No user data is shared with any third-party service providers, advertisers, or external platforms.

The Application functions entirely offline, with all file rendering and processing occurring solely on the user’s device.
All processing of files and display of content is performed locally on the device. The Application does not transmit, store, or back up any data externally, ensuring that user files always remain fully under the control of the user.

Third-Party Services

The App uses certain open-source libraries to enable its functionality, including but not limited to:

  • .NET MAUI and CommunityToolkit.MAUI
  • SkiaSharp and SkiaSharp.Extended
  • MAUI.FreakyControls

These libraries are used solely for UI rendering and technical functionality.
They do not include analytics, advertising, telemetry, or any third-party data collection mechanisms.
The Application does not integrate with Google Analytics, Firebase, Facebook SDKs, or any other data collection or advertising service.

Storage and Security

All data files accessed by using the Application remain stored locally on the user’s device. No data is transmitted to or stored externally, on remote servers or in any other technical way. The Application does not access or request permission to any personal device data other than the explicit file the user chooses to open.

Children’s Privacy

The Fespa B-design Viewer is not directed to children under the age of 18 years old. The Application is intended solely and exclusively for professional use by civil and structural engineers. The Application does not collect, process, or transmit any personal information from users, including inter alia minors. No features within the Application are designed to solicit, store, or handle personal data from children. Any accidental collection of information from a minor is strictly prevented, and the Application does not provide any mechanism that would knowingly or in purpose expose children to data processing or sharing.

User Rights and Data Requests

Since the Application does not collect, process, transmit, or store any personal data, there are no personal data records for users to access, correct, or request deletion of.
Users retain full control over all project files stored locally on their devices. Uninstalling the Application removes all application-related data, but does not automatically delete any project files, i.e. files generated by Fespa, that the user may have copied or stored on the device. Such files remain in the user’s storage and must be manually selected and deleted by the user if removal is desired.

Data Transfers

No data transfers occur outside the user’s device. The Application does not transmit, process, or store data on external or cloud servers or in any other technical way.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect legal, regulatory, or operational changes. Any changes will be posted with an updated “Last Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy and shall apply starting at the aforementioned date.
